TeleHealth Sessions

I am now providing sessions both in person and via telehealth.  Please plan on your next session being held as scheduled, unless you communicate directly with me and we agree upon a change in how your session will be conducted.

If you are attending in person, please do not arrive more than five minutes early for your appointment in order to reduce use of the waiting area.  If you prefer to refrain from using the waiting area entirely, please let me know and we can arrange to text each other when you arrive and when I am ready for you to come up to the office.

We are using extra precautions in the office suite to maintain efforts at reducing risk for transmission of COVID-19.  These measures include improved ventilation and air purification, social distancing, reduced use of common spaces and increased sanitizing of surfaces.  Masks remain required inside of the Shores Building.  Once inside of my office, the wearing of masks is not required for persons that are fully vaccinated, though is encouraged for persons that are not fully vaccinated.

If you are feeling ill and cannot attend a scheduled appointment, or providing care for someone who is ill and cannot meet via telehealth, simply let me know and I will cancel your appointment and reschedule at your convenience.

As our situation during the pandemic is evolving, any additional changes will be announced via updates to this website.  Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we work together to continue to promote good health practices in our community.

If you are interested in telehealth sessions, please review the information available on this page.  Please contact me by email (using the form below) to let me know if you would like telephone or video sessions.

While I will do my best to remain apprised of the degree to which various health insurance companies will pay claims for therapy sessions held via telehealth, this is a matter that is now evolving regularly.  It is ultimately your responsibility to make sure you are aware if your company will do so.  If you need any assistance with this, please let me know. If your session may be held via telehealth, please read the following:

Telephone Sessions

If your regularly scheduled session can be held via telephone, I will use the number that you provided for use in the text message reminder system, unless you provide an alternate number to me that you would prefer.  At the time of our appointment, or as near as is possible, I will initiate contact with you to begin our session.  This will be our default manner of communicating unless you indicate to me that you wish to meet via video conference link (see below).

Video Sessions

If your regularly scheduled session can be held via video conference link, we will be using the TheraNest application.  This will require patients to have a little comfort with using computer applications, though will not require any formal training on your part.  TheraNest has been an entirely secure and reliable system for me, has user-friendly interfaces and excellent technical support on the rare occasion such assistance has been needed.

Please review the following detailed information from TheraNest to learn more:

If you are interested in proceeding with video sessions, please complete the form below and I will start the administrative process for us to meet in that manner at the time of our next session.  I will send you an email with additional information that you will need to get started with video sessions.
